Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using InvoiceFree ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of service

InvoiceFree provides a web-based invoice generation tool that allows users to create, preview, export, and manage invoices. The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to change at any time without notice.

3. User accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. Accounts may not be transferred to another person.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use InvoiceFree to:

  • Create fraudulent or misleading invoices
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise the security of the Service
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure

5. Intellectual property

The InvoiceFree application, including its design, code, and templates, is our intellectual property. The invoice documents you create using InvoiceFree belong to you.

You grant us no rights to the content of your invoices. We do not claim ownership over any invoice data you create.

6. Payments and subscriptions

The core Service is free. Optional paid plans (Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe there was an error.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVOICEFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
